Project Description

Area Description

The research area aims to develop tecno-organizational solutions for product/process design and operations management in complex industrial sectors. Its focus is on the optimization of engineering data, information and knowledge management through tools and methodologies based on business processes and innovative technological applications.

The research activities include technological benchmark, new trends foresight, organizational and sector analysis, business processes analysis together with the development of new solutions on PLM, BPM, Business Intelligence and Virtual Reality Systems.

The research area works in regional, Italian and European projects collaborating with different research organizations and industrial companies. The living lab KLIO Lab (Knowledge Lifecycle Innovation), established from the research activities of the area, is certified by ENOLL (European Network of Living Lab).
